Life drawing.

These are a few drawing a have produced in my life drawing class. I like the technique I used for this one. I find ink and water makes a really nice effect and it is good for adding detail to drawings. I realise that my proportion is a bit off with this but I still think it looks quite nice as a piece.
The second drawing is a range of drawing I had to do relating to the human body using different materials. I really like the ink drawings I have done especially the feet because I find the fine liner makes the detail a lot more sketchy and interesting. As well with the drawing of my shark tooth necklace I find this looks nice in ink. My favourite of the multiple drawings how ever is the eyes. I really like how I have done them and the shading is done well. The eyelashes are done with a freshly sharpened pencil so the lines are very fine which I find is a nice contrast next to the shading. I think it looks very well done.

The blurred drawing is of my face. I looked in a mirror with smudged Vaseline on it and then tried to draw myself. This is a very interesting technique because instead of drawing the detail you only drawing the tones. You can see where the light and dark tones are and with this you can make out what the image is. I really like this drawing because of the light and dark tones. I find that this is actually how I look in a smudged mirror and it has come out very well.
The next six photos are of people in the class and other various lessons we had where we had to draw people with clothes on which I found very difficult to do.

The two charcoal drawings of the man are from our first session of life drawing where a model came in to pose for us. I extremely enjoyed this lesson as it was my first time drawing a naked body however I wish we could of used different materials because charcoal is not my strongest of materials.
The final drawings are from my last life drawing session. This was my first time using pencil for life drawing with a model and even though they don't have any detail or anything I still really like how they have come out. I find pencil to be my specialist area because I know what extents I can go with it and I know what they are capable of. Like I said I really like how these have come out and I hope we will use pencil in the future.
